IN VENICE ACTION OF TIZIANO

The exhibition displays 28 masterpieces painted from the year 1550,when the sixty years old
artist let himself be inspired by a new style ,which united great sensuality and deep spirituality.
The Accademia possesses the last of Tiziano’s work,The Pieta’, which is perhaps the highest expression of that artistic season.
A masterpieces’ exhibition (insured for a 1000 million euros ) dedicated to the late Tiziano’s production, that will take place in Venice from the 26th of January to the 20th of April at the
Accademia.
The title of this highly expected exhibition is “ The last Tiziano and painting’s
sensuality “and will display 28 extraordinary paintings made from 1550 to his death in 1576.
He was able to rediscover ,almost sixty years old,a new painting style :the colour is spread
quickly and free on the canvas,even with hands, forms resolve, sensuality lights up and at
the same moment also spirituality becomes deeper,giving life to a very theatrical and dramatic
painting.
The exhibition will be articulated in 3 sections, dedicated to portraits,profane themes, and sacred painting. The paintings are exceptionally lended by the major world’s museums.
